Matt Maher: Live In Concert

Contemporary Christian songwriter and singer Matt Maher will perform in concert at 7:30 p.m. Sun., Nov. 11 at St. John Neumann Church in Strongsville.

The concert is part of the 15th anniversary celebration of the Life Teen program at St. John Neumann. Life Teen originated in Phoenix and is used as a model of Youth Ministry in Catholic parishes throughout the world.

Maher is one of the most popular and critically-acclaimed Catholic artists. At World Youth Day 2002 in Toronto, the late Pope John Paul II sang Maher’s lyrical prayer “Litany of the Saints” along with 700,000 young pilgrims from around the world. His music has received glowing reviews from major Catholic and Christian music publications. He has become one of the most sought after performers at Youth Ministry conferences and rallies.

In 2003, Maher received the Unity Award for “Best New Artist of the Year,” followed in 2004 with a Unity Award for “Praise & Worship Song of the Year.” With three CDs released to date, Maher and his band travel the globe performing his music.
